Prayercast: A Martyr's Lasting Legacy

Over the years, hundreds of believers from around the world have entrusted our Prayercast team with recording them as they pray for their nation. Through videos built around those prayers, their voices invite the global Church to see their nations through their eyes and pray with greater understanding, compassion, and hope for the people they know and love.
One of those voices belonged to a ministry partner from Armenia. We recently learned that he was martyred for his faith. While we mourn his loss, we celebrate his faithful witness and the passion that marked his life: a deep desire for others to know Jesus.
Although he is now with the Lord, his voice lives on. Since his death, more than 2,000 believers have visited our Armenia Prayercast page to hear his prayer, learn about the country, and join him in interceding for its people.

What a privilege to see God continue to use one man’s faithful life and legacy to inspire thousands of others to seek Him on behalf of his nation.
Please pray for Armenia
Armenia bears deep scars from generations of suffering. Between 1915 and 1916, an estimated 600,000 to 1.5 million Armenians were killed in the Armenian Genocide under the Ottoman Empire.
From 1920 to 1991, Armenia lived under Soviet rule, where churches were closed, pastors were persecuted, and religious education was suppressed. More recently, after decades of conflict between ethnic Armenians and Azerbaijan, war erupted, forcing the entire Armenian population of Nagorno-Karabakh to flee.
We praise God who hears our prayers and is able to bring healing, reconciliation, and salvation to the people of Armenia!
