OneWay Ministries (OWM) has created this policy to describe the information we ask from you and how it is collected and shared. We want to make sure your experience with us is pleasant and that you feel secure as you browse owm.org or make a donation.
What we collect:
Your street address
Your email address
Your phone numbers
NOTE: this is what is voluntarily given when making online donations or your name and email address when subscribing for emails.
Why we collect this information:
OWM desires to maintain a relationship with donors and those who partner with us. This information enables us to make that happen. By providing this information you will receive updates from the ministry that help you pray for and partner in our greatest needs. You will also receive notifications concerning news and upcoming events involving the ministry.
How we use the information we collect:
Any information we collect regarding donations is filed into the Quickbooks application, which is password protected and for internal use only. Any other information we collect, such as address, email, phone numbers, is put into Salesforce which is also password protected and for internal use only. Donations first come in through a secure and trusted donation platform, including Stewardship Technologies and 4agoodcause.
We use basic information for financial information and reporting, and for acknowledging donors.
This information is also used for physical mailings, email newsletters, and sharing amongst our various ministry mailing lists.
Cookies, beacons and other technologies
OWM’s websites use certain monitoring and tracking technologies (such as cookies, beacons, pixels, tags and scripts). These trackings are used primarily by the web hosts and not by OneWay Ministries. As such, they are used to improve user experience.
How we protect your information
Any financial information collected goes directly into Quickbooks and cannot be accessed without a password.
We do not keep donors' credit card or banking information in Quickbooks or Salesforce. We do, however, keep records of donations details, such as name, address, email, phone number, donation amount and how they gave. The online donation platforms (both securely protected) that we use to process our donations will store credit card and banking info, but once entered, we can only view the last four digits.
