"We Are Ready to Die"

This month, OneWay Africa's Livingstone School of Missions celebrated the graduation of 15 extraordinary leaders.

These graduates aren't heading to comfortable ministry positions—they are intentionally going where it is hard, dangerous, and where few others are willing to serve.

During their intensive, year-long training, these students from various African nations focused on Biblical missions, theology, evangelism, developing character, and falling in love with Jesus each day.

However, they didn't just sit in a classroom. They were required to evangelize up to 15 hours a week.

Here's what God did through them in just one year:

  • 11,800+ people reached with the gospel

  • 3,401 individuals accepted Christ

  • 6 nations are now receiving these graduates as full-time missionaries

"Who shall God send to tell His people that He loves them?" LSM graduate, Alex Manga said. "There must be somebody. We are ready to die for Muslims to know Christ."

Alex Manga, a 2022 graduate, shared why he decided to attend LSM.

Before Alex, who was a zealous Muslim, attended LSM, God used a Christian named Abraham to reach him with the gospel. When Alex gave his life to Christ, he wanted to follow Abraham's example. He knew sharing the gospel couldn't end with him.

He felt called to missions, and he knew he needed to be well-equipped. That's when he heard about Livingstone School of Missions.

"I heard that Livingstone School of Missions is a stronghold of great learning where a lot of spirit-filled missionaries are produced," Alex said. "I was so much impressed by that and felt that I should also become a great product of that school."

The Next Wave

As these graduates deploy into the field, 35 new students representing 14 African nations have already filled their seats in the classroom.

Each has sacrificed to attend this year's training.

"They sacrificed, and they left their jobs," Ray Mensah, Executive Director of OneWay Africa, said. "There are some married, but they left their spouses. A lady from Cameroon has multiple children, but she left her children to come."

Ray Mensah prays that many will be saved through these students and that God will give them a big harvest.

Please Pray For Our Students!

Our new students and staff need your prayers! As they train, please ask God to help these students fall in love with Jesus and gain His heart for the nations.

Thank you for being a part of raising up the next generation for Christ!
