How Missions Became Real for Us
Many believers feel a pull toward missions—but wonder how that fits into real life, busy schedules, and everyday responsibilities. Esther and Vince found themselves wrestling with that same tension—until God invited them into His mission in a deeply personal and unexpected way.
"After we got married in November 2024, Esther and I (Vince) spent much of our first year of marriage thinking and praying through God’s will for us. As we both work full-time and live relatively busy lives, it seemed unlikely that we would participate in missions in the ways we felt drawn to.
That changed when we learned about the opportunity to partner with a Ghanaian missionary already serving on the field. Supporting Clement, a Jesus Film Rider in northern Ghana, quickly grew from monthly giving into a meaningful relationship through texts, calls, and regular updates.
When we had the chance to visit Ghana, everything became real.
Meeting Clement in person and seeing Him serve the Lord turned a face on a screen into a dear friend. This experience reminded us that personal connection is at the heart of missions—it deeply encourages those serving and transforms the way we give.
Our encouragement to others: go beyond sending a check, build meaningful relationships, and remember you don’t have to be on the field to be part of the work."

"It's beautiful having people on the other side of the globe who pray, interact and care for you. This is more than a team. It is a family." -Clement, Jesus Film Rider
Will you go with a Jesus Film Rider?
Across Ghana, trained Ghanaian missionaries travel to remote and underserved communities, sharing the Jesus Film with those who have never heard the gospel. Each Jesus Film Rider shares Christ with an average of 12,000 people each year, often in communities with little or no prior Christian witness. New disciples are made and churches are born.
If you're wondering how you can personally come alongside this work—especially if you don't feel called to go overseas—we’ve created a simple but powerful pathway. Becoming part of a PIT Crew—Pray, Invest, Tell—connects you directly with Jesus Film Riders through prayer, encouragement, giving, and advocacy, allowing you to witness firsthand the gospel’s impact in unreached communities.
If you’d like to learn more about joining a PIT Crew—or what that could look like for you or your small group—we’d love to connect.
