Get to know the OneWay team! This week we'd like to introduce you to one of the people working behind the scenes at OneWay to help Reach People.
In his role as a staff writer at Mission Network News, Kevin Zeller sees and enjoys how his work serves to connect the church worldwide.
“I love talking to my partners, engaging with international news stories, and communicating this valuable information to our audience,” Kevin says. “I think it's important for Christians in the U.S. to engage with other believers around the world, including the news that affects them. It's one way to make sure we do not become isolated.”
Kevin joined the MNN team in early 2020. His role as a staff writer touches on multiple areas of the news process. Not only does he conduct interviews, cut audio, and write radio scripts for daily broadcasts, but he also researches international news stories and formats MNN’s web content.
To Kevin, it’s great to be part of a team that works well together to report the news with speed and professionalism. “I appreciate the different perspectives the team brings to the stories that we report on,” he says.
Kevin and his wife also had the adventure of buying and fixing up a house, along with good friends from college. Together, they share the home in a collaborative living arrangement along with other family and friends. It’s all about hospitality and living in community.
