Eid al-Fitr marks end of Ramadan fasting

Muslims all over the world are eagerly waiting for Sunday to arrive.

It will mark the most significant holiday of the Muslim calendar, Eid al-Fitr, the end of the Ramadan fasting.

A friend of Prayercast shared how participating in the Ramadan Prayer Campaign encouraged them to reach out to Muslim neighbors on Eid al-Fitr:

"Our church has had an apartment ministry through which we met a couple of related Muslim families whose children no longer attend. But we have kept in contact. Several months ago I received, through the JESUS Film ministry, a DVD with the JESUS Film...Yesterday on the celebration of Eid al-Fitr, I took the DVD and some treats to one family and wished them 'Eid Mubarak!' Now praying that GOD will use the DVD to bring both families to Himself. The Prayercast episodes have given me a much greater connection and compassion for people in the darkness of Islam and fueled my desire to get the DVD to our Muslim friends."

As Ramadan concludes, Muslims thank Allah for giving them strength to endure a month of fasting, hoping that their efforts have been enough to gain his favor. Our prayer is for them to know the one true God who measures not by works but by His own blood.
