Get to know the OneWay team! This week we'd like to introduce you to one of the people working behind the scenes at OneWay to help Reach People.
As she oversees Human Resources and facility needs at OneWay, Cinthia Yee brings a ready smile and a gracious spirit that helps smooth the way for the team in countless seen and unseen ways.
Before joining OneWay, Cinthia worked as an educator for 15 years and a children’s ministry director for one year. In 2018 she moved from Texas to Illinois to marry her husband, Andrew (who is also on staff), and it wasn’t long before she was invited to consider a role with OneWay. It “felt like it was an open door and opportunity from the Lord to serve Him in this capacity,” she says.
During this pandemic season, she has made sure staff members have information and resources they need, whether that be travel itineraries, meeting notes, printing schedules and much more.
To Cinthia, the best part about her job is working with people who love God and are passionate about reaching multitudes with the gospel — work that changes lives for eternity. She also appreciates the fun and warmth she has experienced with the OneWay team.
“Our staff has a great sense of humor and enjoys laughing together!” she says.
Cinthia grew up in Brazil, Sweden and the U.S. — an unusual background she enjoys sharing about. When she isn’t answering emails, Cinthia can be found baking delicious things, like cookies.
