She’s kind. She’s caring. She’s amazing with details.
Disney has its princesses, but they’ve got nothing on OneWay’s Kate Kavanaugh! Kate worked at Disney World in college, and OneWay colleagues mention they can picture her with bluebirds singing on her shoulder.
Kate adores building relationships, hosting events and helping people feel they belong, so her job with the young adults of OneWay is a dream job! Doing work that matters and has eternal consequences is an important part of being on the OneWay team to Kate. Working here is helping her learn how to trust the Lord more.
“Being at OneWay, I get to work with people who are committed to the gospel and mission of Jesus Christ in a way I have never seen before,” she said. “It is an honor to learn from and be a part of this kingdom-focused community.”
She joined OneWay because, “basically, the Lord asked me to quit my job and go into ministry, so I did!”
Kate has dreams of bringing together her passions by writing a Disney and theology book one day. She is a formally trained opera singer and has been called the “Queen of Mac & Cheese.”
