Get to know the OneWay team! We'd like to introduce you to one of the people working behind the scenes at OneWay to help Reach People.
After working in structural engineering for 37 years, David Morrill began to feel the Lord leading him to work full time in the ministry. He retired early from engineering and used his management and administration skills as a full-time administrative pastor at his church. While in that position, a board member for OneWay Ministries spoke at his church, and while they were out for lunch, the board member told David that OWM was looking for a chief operating officer. OneWay’s vision perfectly matched the desire God had placed on David’s heart.
In his role with OneWay, David works with an incredible group of leaders, including our Department Directors and CEO, to make sure that the daily operations and vision of OWM are met. He also encourages and supports individual staff members, making them feel seen and cared for.
“There is no greater joy or purpose than seeing people accept Jesus Christ as their personal savior,” David said. “Having the privilege of working every day with dedicated, godly people who are committed to seeing the multitudes come to a saving faith in Christ is priceless!”
When he’s not working, David loves crushing everyone on staff at pickleball. He also loves hiking in the mountains and taking photos along the way. He and his wife, Deborah, have been married for 37 years, and they have five grandsons and a granddaughter under six years old.
