Get to know the OneWay team! This week we'd like to introduce you to one of the people working behind the scenes at OneWay to help Reach People.
Andrew Yee was one of OneWay’s first-ever interns before he came on staff — back when the ministry's headquarters was our founder’s basement. He met OneWay founders Michael and Rachel Thompson at the Evangelical Free Church of Naperville (now Compass Church), where he served on the Worship Arts team. Now, he serves as the Managing Director of OneWay Studios.
In addition to serving at OneWay, Andrew Yee is a real estate broker, a violinist in the Dupage Symphony Orchestra and a basketball enthusiast. His favorite book is the “Book of Basketball” by Bill Simmons and his favorite “candy” is preserved plums and prunes from Hong Kong. (He also loves Starbursts.)
One of his favorite things about working with OneWay the past three years has been the chance to work alongside his wife, Cinthia, who served as Human Resources Manager until 2022.
He can die happy knowing Jesus . . . and knowing that the Bears, Bulls, Blackhawks, White Sox and Cubs won in his lifetime!
