Meet the Team: Andrew Weiss

Get to know the OneWay team! This week we'd like to introduce you to one of our summer interns.

Andrew Weiss

Hometown: Aurora, IL

College: Bob Jones University

Major: Music Major, Business Minor; Certificate in digital audio production

OneWay track: Audio Production

Andrew Weiss was serving on the worship team at his church in the Naperville area when he got to know a friend from the OneWay team who also was leading worship. He heard about the summer internship and thought it sounded like a fun way to spend his summer and gain new skills in the area of audio production.

Growing up in Aurora, IL, he enjoyed soccer and baseball, but his hobbies extended further than just sports. Andrew loves working with his hands and building things — anything from refinishing and modifying speakers to building a wooden bluetooth speaker of his own. He also loves collecting and fixing antiques. Some of his most treasured finds include his great-grandfather’s guitar, a working Tombstone Radio from the 1930s, and a pre-WWI globe!

Since being at OneWay, Andrew has learned the power of good community. With that comes fellow believers that push you and encourage you in your everyday life.

“You get to know your fellow interns on a work, spiritual and personal level. It's a great balance of all three” he said.

“Here at OneWay, you never know what the day will bring. We could be in the studio or lifting cubicles. No matter what we do, it's always fun.”

Welcome to the team, Andrew!
