Charity Masuwor suffered from both spiritual and physical bondage. Yet, when she received a BiblePlus+ unit, her life was forever changed...
"Before I came to faith in Jesus Christ, I was very sick. I gave birth and [my child] also became sick. A woman preached the gospel to me and gave me [a BiblePlus+ audio player]. I thought to myself, 'I have slaughtered many goats to idols, but to no avail. How can I just be healed?']
"Sadly, my child died and my husband went to a soothsayer and received word I was going to die too. In spite of this, I listened to the BiblePlus+ constantly. Over time, this led to my decision to accept Christ as my Lord and Savior. I was healed, both spiritually and physically!
"When I shared this beautiful message of Jesus Christ with my brother... he was so angry. Even so, I gave him [a BiblePlus+]. He listened. By the grace of God, he came under strong conviction as he continued to listen and is now a follower of Christ Jesus.
"I have another brother called Idrisu, who was a Muslim. He asked me about how I got saved and I told him. He later received a [BiblePlus+] and also became a believer. Later, his wife gave birth to twins... the elders wanted to perform rituals as idol worshipers, but he professed Christ and would not allow it."
Praise the Lord for the many people He has brought to himself through the BiblePlus+ Project! What a beautiful reminder of the words in Romans 10:14 … "How are they to believe in him of whom they have never heard?"
