Get to know the OneWay team! This week we'd like to introduce you to one of the people working behind the scenes at OneWay to help Reach People.
Katey Hearth loves seeing what God does with her writing craft when she gives it back to Him. She has been with Mission Network News since 2007, starting as a volunteer and then holding a variety of job titles as a staff member for more than a decade. After a brief career change, she felt God leading her back to MNN in 2018.
Katey loves being used by God as a “voice of the voiceless” through Mission Network News. She is passionate about MNN’s mission: to inform lay Christians of God’s work in the world so they can take Great Commission action.
The best thing about being part of the OneWay community is that the staff are passionately in love with Jesus. Katey says, “I enjoy serving alongside these brothers and sisters because it’s like a tangible example of the body of Christ. Everyone serves in a different capacity just like different parts of the body have different functions, but each one is needed and equally important. The Spirit-led worship is great too!”
When she’s not compiling stories for MNN, Katey enjoys running, fishing, and spending time with her husband and cats.
