MY STORY
I stepped into a staff writer role with Mission Network News in 2024, after serving in communications and administration at OneWay for several years. It’s been a stretching, rewarding adventure.
I love what we do and why we do it. As a writer at Mission Network News, I create brief news reports every week. These reports go out over the radio and as web articles with a simple, complex goal: to inform and inspire the Church around the world to become more involved in what God is doing behind today’s headlines. It’s the Great Commission with a “breaking news” angle.
The nations and tribes God’s people serve among look different. The challenges God’s people encounter look different. But the shared goal we have is to help one more person meet Jesus and discover the hope only He offers in all our mess. That’s what makes MNN’s reporting mission-focused. And that’s the only reason I think any reporter can last in this field.
God is up to so much that is good in the face of so much that is evil and broken in this world. The ministries we partner with to share these reports work in many areas!
