MY STORY
I’ve always enjoyed being a creative person, but I’ve also had a wide range of interests growing up — whether that was art, science, history or just learning how things worked. Creativity was a big part in how I approached the world, but it wasn’t the only thing that mattered to me. During highschool, I began thinking about my future and what I wanted to do. How can I work to combine the many things that I love?
That’s when I began to explore filmmaking. I found it was a great way to combine my many interests, while also remaining creative. It has allowed me to grow in the strengths I believe God has blessed me with while also learning how to problem-solve and connect with people in meaningful ways.
This love for filmmaking led me to enroll at Taylor University, where I am currently majoring in Film and Media Arts with a minor in Global Studies. Over time, my passion for video has only grown, and so has my heart for people. Through friendships, leadership roles, and countless conversations, I’ve had the opportunity to walk alongside students from all over the world. It’s taught me to listen better, love deeper, and see
storytelling not only as an art form, but a way to bridge cultures and hearts.
This summer I will be interning with OneWay Ministries as a videographer. OneWay uses art as a way to further the gospel and pray for God’s Kingdom. It’s an opportunity to bring together the things I care about: creativity, people, and sharing the hope of Jesus. I’m looking forward to capturing stories that inspire, encourage, and reflect what God is doing through the global Church. I’d like to invite you to join me in this Kingdom work!

Please pray that over the summer I would not only grow as a filmmaker through OneWay, but also in hope, humility, and in my understanding of how my strengths can be used for something far greater than myself. Please pray that God would be working through OneWay’s community of interns over the summer.
