Far too many people have a deep love for the Lord and long to help others fall in love with Him—but have no idea how. I used to be one of those people.
I would listen to missionaries tell their stories in my living room, in awe of their purpose and commitment. When I explored becoming a missionary, I would ask, “Do you have a place for my quiet, creative gifts?” I kept hearing the same thing: “We want you to serve—but not in that way.”
Until I found OneWay. At OneWay, I was given the chance to win hearts through storytelling—to show people how God has uniquely positioned them to bring hope to a broken world.
Through stories of girls rescued from the streets of South Sudan, churches transformed by Bible stories, and missionaries who gave their lives in service, people have been inspired to open their hands to the Lord and let Him work through them in powerful ways.
One missionary I wrote about was C.T. Studd, who said, “Every true Christian is a soldier… The otherwise Christian is a chocolate soldier, dissolving in water and melting at the smell of fire.” When I read those words, I heard the Lord say, “This is for you.”
I had been so afraid I wasn’t “equipped” for evangelism or discipleship that I had actually turned down offers to serve on the field! But Studd ended his book with a challenge: "Sign on the dotted line: ‘For me to live is Christ. To die is gain.’"
Again, I heard the whisper from God—one that still rings in my ears: “Go.” I don’t yet know exactly where that “go” will take me. But I’m doing my best to prepare for wherever that may be.
Until then, I continue to connect believers with opportunities and inspiration to join the mission, helping partners see the real-world impact of their efforts.
As the population grows, so does the number of lost people. Until the global church wakes up and engages, hands and feet, in the harvest, that trend will continue. I long to see that change.

Strengthen the effectiveness and excellence of every initiative by managing project teams, evaluating performance, and ensuring quality outcomes.

Develop messaging and curriculum to help global church leaders understand and adopt the Heart Bible for the Nations Bible storytelling movement.
