RAISING UP HARVEST WORKERS
The northern regions of Ghana remain among the least reached with the gospel, home to over 17 unreached people groups with millions who have yet to hear about Jesus.
For nearly two decades, OneWay Africa has been answering this call, equipping and sending scores of much-needed African missionaries. While our main training facility in Accra, Ghana, has been instrumental in this mission, the growing demand for more training calls for action. It’s time to establish a second training center—strategically located 400 miles to the north, in a region surrounded by unreached people groups.
Welcome to Philip Centre North, a vision that’s both simple and powerful: a training hub where more African missionaries will be equipped to share the gospel across Ghana and beyond.
After years of prayer, planning, and preparation, the time to act is now. Watch this video to catch the vision—and discover your part in making it a reality.
WHAT WILL PHILIP CENTRE NORTH ACCOMPLISH?
The Philip Centre North will serve as a key hub for reaching the unreached by fulfilling several strategic needs:
-
Training Center: Equip and empower hundreds of missionaries to share Christ and make disciples.
-
Sending Base: Launch harvest workers to spread the good news of Jesus across West Africa and beyond.
-
Community Outreach Hub: Engage local communities with the gospel through onsite sports ministry, radio outreach, and more.
THE VISION
We plan to bring this vision to life in three phases, and we praise God that Phases I and II are now fully funded! Construction for Phase II will take place throughout this year, and we are deeply grateful to you for helping us reach this milestone.
Your support goes far beyond constructing a facility—it equips and empowers missionaries whose faithfulness will impact countless lives for generations to come.

PROGRESS OF THE TRAINING BASE
Philip Centre North has risen before our very eyes. Because the need for harvest workers is so urgent, we have continued training students even as construction progresses. Phase II construction will begin shortly on several key components of the campus, including the dormitory, sports area, perimeter fence, prayer garden, furniture and supplies, and a well to serve the surrounding village.
Students have officially begun their training for this year, and 9 new students have joined—bringing the total to 29 students currently being trained. We are grateful for the way God has provided at just the right time, making space for both growth and discipleship to continue side by side.
