MY STORY
Cultivating spaces where people exalt Jesus and advance his gospel to the nations
As you may remember from my previous
letter, after four years of discipling more
than 70 students in serving the Lord through
internships, this fifth year brought a beautiful shift.
The Lord called one of my former interns
to step into the role I once held and begin
her own journey of training up others. This
transition has carried many emotions: grief over stepping out of a work I loved, joy in seeing lasting fruit, and a deeper conviction that God truly calls people uniquely and specifically to serve Him.
This has opened up my time to step into a leadership role at OneWay as the Director of Hospitality and Facility Operations. Now, you’re probably wondering how that might connect with ministry work. Painting hallways, pulling weeds, thrifting better chairs... hardly what comes to mind when you think of missions. And yet, I am seeing firsthand how these tasks serve the gospel.
As you read this, be encouraged in seeing how mightily the Lord can and will use all of our talents (and shortcomings) for his glory, the good of his people, and for the sake of the nations knowing him.

MARRIED LIFE
In a word: It's been incredible
The Lord has been kind to call Gowtham and I to trust Him in ways many couples don’t experience early on. We have been navigating the process for his Green Card and work authorization as he finishes his Master of Divinity at Moody Bible Institute this December. Honestly, the best way to describe the application process for me has been: “Now this is why people hire lawyers to apply for them!”
While the process has been stretching, the Lord is training us to lean on Him fully and trust that His way is always better. It is our hope that once approval comes through, Gowtham will begin working again at OneWay, working with the Prayercast team as they lead millions of God’s people in prayer for the nations.
Please pray that Gowtham’s Employment Authorization ID (EAID) would be approved quickly and smoothly, and that he would be able to step into active ministry immediately after graduation.
Would you prayerfully consider becoming a prayer partner and financial supporter of Kate's ministry at OneWay? Your gift will help her raise the funding she needs to pursue Kingdom-advancing work.
