MY STORY
Ever since I could remember, I have been enthralled by the idea of storytelling. From the moment I opened up my first chapter book — The Magic Tree House: Dinosaurs Before Dark — in the first grade, I was immediately captivated by the way the author drew me in with her characterization and vivid descriptions of faraway places.
From that point on, I dreamed of telling stories to people that inspired them the way that I was inspired. However, I never believed that I had the gifts or talents required to do such things. That was until high school when an opportunity arose to join a newspaper introduction class. It was there that my newspaper teacher encouraged me to pursue journalism as a career, which led me to spend my last two years of high school on the school paper.
This encouragement helped me see the gift of writing and communication that the Lord has blessed me with. It has been so special to see how He has helped me use these talents for the furthering of His Kingdom!
When I was a senior in high school, I found out about Cedarville University, which is where I currently attend as a journalism major in my third year. The Lord has been so
kind and gracious in revealing His plan to me. Even though I grew up in a Christian home, I would’ve never imagined myself at a Christian university and truly my time here is living proof that His plan is so much better than mine!
It was at Cedarville that I found out about OneWay Ministries, and was immediately excited by the idea of combining my love for both sharing the Gospel and storytelling. I have already been so encouraged by the work that OneWay does and am so excited about joining their intern team this upcoming summer!
At OneWay, I’ll have the incredible opportunity to pursue my dream of inspiring others through storytelling by writing impactful stories that spark prayer and giving toward the Great Commission — all while deepening my walk with Christ through intentional discipleship training.
Please pray for my time at OneWay — that I will learn and develop a greater understanding of how to glorify God’s Kingdom with the stories that I will have the opportunity to share!

MY GOALS

Develop and implement initiatives to engage believers in the Great Commission including print materials and digital marketing.

Create content and ideas to express the heart, mission and vision of OneWay and communicate events, initiatives and special projects.

Support the ministries of OneWay by interviewing partners, identifying global impact and telling key stories.

Grow spiritually through group teaching times, individual mentorship, small group discipleship, corporate prayer and worship events.
