MY STORY
Dear family and friends,
Growing up within the church has given me a passion for reaching unreached people groups. My family has had a massive impact with their heart and longing for the gospel message to be spread worldwide. Much of my immediate family has been to many different parts of the globe with the gospel, and it has shown me the dire need for Christ himself to be spread. But growing up, I never realized this message of Christ could be effectively spread through media.
Over the past couple of years, my passion for videography has increased tremendously. I have always been a performative person, whether it be choir, theater, drama, or Sunday worship. But over the past four years, the Lord has increased my heart for the visual arts and how they can further the Kingdom of the Lord. I love the process of creating, whether that is photography, design, or videography.
Last summer, I had the privilege of interning at OneWay on the Digital Evangelism team, using these skills God has given me in the visual arts. I got to work with various
missionaries across the globe to create websites and advertisements that were designed to be viewed by people in countries that have a majority Muslim population. Through these ads and websites, multiple people accepted Christ! Seeing the Lord work through the projects I was creating at OneWay was very fulfilling.
That’s why I’m excited to tell you that this summer, I will be joining OneWay again to help spread the gospel message through my passion for videography. I will be on their team as a video editor. I am so excited to be working on a team with others who have similar skills and passions to further God’s Kingdom. I had the privilege of joining OneWay to further God’s mission last year, and I cannot wait to do it again this summer!
