MY STORY
Stories have always been part of my life, whether that was reading books or hearing stories about my own family. Before starting college at Cedarville University, I knew that I wanted to tell stories for the rest of my life, so I chose to major in journalism. Now, I am working for Cedarville’s news publication and run a weekly column writing people’s stories.
Still unsure of what kinds of jobs or internships were available for this type of writing, I kept praying and asking God to lead me where He wanted me to go. And that’s when I remembered hearing about OneWay Ministries during my freshman year. OneWay is a nonprofit missions
organization dedicated to spreading the Gospel to the ends of the earth (Acts 1:8). The ministry equips missionaries all over the world, and they also work to engage believers in the Great Commission through inspiring stories of God’s work.
As a communications intern, I will help share these stories through writing, social media, and other various types of digital media. For ten weeks, I will work on OneWay’s engagement team and live in community housing with other interns as we learn to use our gifts to advance the gospel.

MY GOALS

Develop and implement initiatives to engage believers in the Great Commission including print materials and digital marketing.

Create content and ideas to express the heart, mission and vision of OneWay and communicate events, initiatives and special projects.

Support the ministries of OneWay by interviewing partners, identifying global impact and telling key stories.

Grow spiritually through group teaching times, individual mentorship, small group discipleship, corporate prayer and worship events.
