Last year I learned of an internship opportunity to serve the Lord with my skills in design. I expected it to expand my skills while I served a good cause, but I was anxious about living with strangers and working in a new environment.

All my worries melted away into one of the biggest, most life-changing experiences I have ever been part of. I worked with OneWay’s Digital Evangelism ministry, primarily doing web design and ad campaigns to help ministries around the globe engage in conversation with Muslims searching for information on Christianity.

I worked on meaningful projects in a professional setting while being poured into spiritually. From daily prayers and worship to community dinners, God’s love was abundantly present every step of the way.

I’m excited to be going back to this Christ-loving, Christ-centered community that seeks to share the gospel with unreached people. I am praying that God would work through me to impact the lives of those my projects reach and that I will grow my skills in design in the process.
