MY STORY
The question, “What brought you here?” usually tinged with confusion, pounces on me often. What I assume people mean is, “How did a girl from Georgia who dreamed about going to art school end up in Chicago studying communications at a Bible College?” I often wonder the same thing.
When I served with the World Race a few years ago, I had planned to take a gap year overseas, return, wipe my hands of mission work, and go back to the art school scheme. That plan was tossed in a pile of things I abandoned when Christ called me to follow him somewhere else.
I am now a junior at Moody Bible Institute studying communications with an emphasis in journalism.
This summer, I have the chance to intern with OneWay, working on their communications team, developing professional and ministry skills, and living in community with other interns as we use media to seek and save the lost.
“SO, WHAT BROUGHT YOU HERE?”
In other words, “How did you end up in a place you never planned doing work you never expected to love?”
God has called me, and despite my concerns, confusions, and weaknesses, his grace has enabled me to follow. I ask you to pray that God would use my time at OneWay to further his kingdom and lead me to another unexpected place. Would you prayerfully consider partnering with me?
MY GOALS

Develop and implement initiatives to engage believers in the Great Commission including print materials and digital marketing.

Create content and ideas to express the heart, mission and vision of OneWay and communicate events, initiatives and special projects.

Support the ministries of OneWay by interviewing partners, identifying global impact and telling key stories.
04
Grow spiritually through group teaching times, individual mentorship, small group discipleship, corporate prayer and worship events.
