MY STORY
I’m writing to tell you about an incredible opportunity I have this summer to use my gifts and talents to help reach people with the news of Jesus.
I have accepted an internship at OneWay Ministries where I will be working with
the Studios Team to create videos to rally believers around the world to pray for the nations. These Prayercast videos receive more than 3 million views each month. I also will be helping with maintenance needs at the OneWay ministry center in the suburbs of Chicago.
For the past year, I’ve been part of the
gap year program at Camp Timber-lee in Wisconsin. During my gap year, I’ve been able to learn to find God, grow in my faith and gain a better understanding of my gifts and talents. I’ve realized that I enjoy all types of construction and maintenance projects.
This will be my second summer at OneWay.
Last year, I was able to help the ministry
build out their audio and video recording studios and assist with other types of building maintenance. I’m thankful to be able to return this summer to continue that work.
OneWay has a massive goal this summer to
produce 100 artistically-created videos to encourage believers to pray for the world. I’m excited to be part of this project through my internship.
Not only will I be able to grow professionally, both in the areas of video editing and building maintenance, but I also will be mentored spiritually and be part of a vibrant Christian community.

MY GOALS

Work with the Studios Team to create and edit artistically-flavored videos to rally the church to pray for the nations.

Help both the Studios Team and overall ministry with construction and maintenance projects to help design a creative work environment for the team.

Grow spiritually through group teaching times, individual mentorship, small group discipleship, corporate prayer and worship events.

Build relationships as part of a young adult team that lives together in community housing. I'll attend retreats, staff lunches and worship with interns and the ministry team.
