When I was growing up in Ghana, West Africa, I had the privilege of taking mediatory and communication roles — which I thought was a privilege and a big responsibility as a teenager. As the first daughter of my parents, those experiences helped me to bring peace among my younger siblings. As a result, I was motivated to take up more responsibilities at school, at church and in the community.

When I came of age, I had the gifts of being cool-headed and responsible. So, I signed up for a role to undertake community service with TadLife Organization.

I chose to take this opportunity because of my desire to serve people just as Jesus Christ gave himself to die for our sins without hesitation.

I have learned and I believe that another way to preach and teach the gospel is to live by the gospel — hence, being a role model and making people believe in the existence of God through our actions. I take this from Ephesians 5:1–2.

During my internship at OneWay, I am hoping to extend the knowledge I have acquired and to be of good service. I also hope to learn more from the people of diverse backgrounds and cultures during our time together.

For ten weeks this summer, I will work on OneWay’s team and live in community housing with other interns. I will put my administrative skills to use for Prayercast, which helps lead prayer worldwide. I will also serve with Mission Network News, which informs the Church of what God is doing around the world.

Would you prayerfully consider helping me achieve this internship’s financial goals?
