
CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER

Summary:
We are looking for a Chief Financial Officer to coordinate and review activities to ensure the OneWay Financial Team is in full compliance with all state and federal regulations. The CFO would also oversee the preparation of required state and federal submissions and the annual audit process.
Responsibilities:

Oversees audit process and approves final statements to be published

Oversees Form 990 preparation and approves final numbers to be published

Periodically review insurance coverage with COO & Finance Director

Provide oversight and coordination of annual budget preparation.

Keep abreast of, and knowledgable about, trends and aspects of accounting for non-profit organizations.

Keep abreast of income tax & social security matters.

Meets annually with CEO & COO to review and sign-off on final audited financial statements.

Meets annually with CEO & COO to review and sign-off on final Form 990 report.Meets with Finance Director monthly to review and approve monthly income statement & balance sheet.
Qualifications:

CPA desired

Detail oriented

Strong computer skills – MS Office, Numbers, Financial management software (Aplos experience preferred).

Compensation Statement:
This is a part-time role that requires about two to four hours per week. OneWay has various compensation models, including individual support-raising, stipends and salaried positions. Compensation is dependent on the individual and the position. Preference will be given to candidates who are willing to raise support, but others will be considered.
