MY STORY
Throughout my freshman year at Taylor University, I heard a recurring message from my professors and chapel speakers. They challenged me to align my plan with God’s and view my vocation as an act of worship.
I took that message to heart as I began searching for an internship opportunity that would give me real life experience for a future career. I stumbled upon OneWay, which is a ministry in the Chicago area with a huge vision to reach people with the gospel.
OneWay focuses on training and sending missionaries in Africa and the Middle East, as well as creating media to rally believers to pray for unreached people around the world.
After prayerful consideration I accepted an opportunity to spend my summer at OneWay as part of their Communications Team. I'm excited to use my skills to communicate the message of this ministry and ultimately help reach people with the incredible news of Jesus.
I know this summer will allow me to grow spiritually, professionally and relationally in preparation for Kingdom-impact. I would like to invite you all to come alongside me and be a part of my ministry this summer!
MY GOALS

Work with the Communications Team to develop and implement a strategy for initiatives that include creating print materials, designing social media posts and coordinating ministry events.

Our young adult teams live together in community housing and regularly participate in team retreats, special events, community meals, and truly life-changing relationships with one another and our greater ministry family

Grow spiritually through group teaching times, individual mentorship, small group discipleship, corporate prayer and worship events.

Build relationships as part of a young adult team that lives together in community housing. I'll attend retreats, staff lunches and worship with interns and the ministry team.
