“Be exalted, O God, above the heavens; let your glory be over all the earth.” Psalm 57:5
OneWay’s mission is to activate God’s people to exalt Jesus Christ and advance His gospel to the multitudes.
One of the ways we do that is by calling the Body of Christ together for special concerts of worship that glorify God, highlight what He is doing around the world and encourage His people to take a greater role in helping to bring His gospel to the ends of the earth.
With rich musical sounds and opportunities for corporate praise, our concerts are woven with video, testimonies, Scripture and prayer. We also aim to provide believers with practical ways they can more actively use their time, skills and resources to build the Kingdom of God around the world.
It is our prayer that when people leave one of these events, they feel they have gained a new glimpse of God’s greatness and power and of His overarching passion to see His salvation extended to all peoples through His Body.
SHINE 12/03/09
The week OneWay Ministries waited for all year ended in complete victory. All glory to God!
On December 3rd, roughly 600 people, including representatives from about 50 nations and many area churches and organizations, gathered to worship Jesus and celebrate His coming and His kingdom at our Let It Shine Christmas concert. Over 70 musicians took part through choir and orchestra and the evening was filled with powerful readings from Scripture, tracing the light of Christ from Genesis to Revelation.
We truly praise God for answering so many prayers for this event. God clearly worked by His Spirit and touched His people. He also touched many unbelievers and has brought at least one that we know of to a saving faith in Him. Praise the Lord!
Over 1,500 copies of OneWay’s re-release of Driftings, our evangelistic Christmas album featuring a new message by Lon Allison of the Billy Graham Center, went out the door that night as well as many copies of our newest release, Shine. We pray that the music and message of the night reverberates and is used by God in profound ways.
