Andrew Murray once said, “The man who mobilizes the Christian church to pray will make the greatest contribution to world evangelization in history.†This sentiment is at the very core of Prayercast, which was born out of a heart to see millions around the world reached with the gospel of Jesus Christ as His people pray.
Through free, compelling media resources that highlight the needs of the world, we aim to provide the Body of Christ with powerful tools for prayer. Our vision is to see believers fervently interceding for people in every corner of the globe: calling upon Him to do the impossible, break the unbreakable and reach the unreachable.
Featuring the voices of gifted intercessors combined with gripping imagery and music, our Prayercast videos are distributed through various technologies around the world to spur on heartfelt intercession. Our website, Prayercast.com, also features written information and current global news links to equip God’’s people to pray informed and compassionate prayers.
Since its inception in 2008, we’ve seen God use the resources of Prayercast.com in tremendous ways, having been accessed by people from over 130 nations. Many have been moved to intercede and even weep during times of private prayer. Churches and mission organizations have used Prayercast videos to spark powerful times of corporate prayer. And a growing list of partnership organizations, such as Operation World, Moody Radio, and UCB TV are using Prayercast resources through their respective mediums, greatly widening the audience and the circle of those actively interceding for the lost.
While the results of prayer are not necessarily measurable, we know that its power is likewise incalculable. As we pursue the vision God has given to activate world-changing prayer, it is our great expectation that eternity will heartily confirm that when we pray, there is a God who listens, hears, and acts.
