Volunteer Opportunities For Prayercast
The ministry of Prayercast leverages innovative technologies and the help of gifted intercessors and journalists to gather prayers, news, stories, music, and video from around the world. Those electronic and print components are then used to artistically create unique, compelling, and professional quality prayer resources that are distributed around the world using current and emerging technologies. The heart of Prayercast is for the lost, and the most effective way to support evangelism is through prayer.
It takes a small army of volunteer, part-time, and full-time staff to acquire raw materials, produce Prayercast resources, and distribute them around the world. The needs run the gamut of technical experience from mild internet use to highly skilled production positions.
The following are the skilled volunteer positions we are seeking to fill:
Writers- Write a wide variety of pieces with great skill.
Graphic Designer- Design graphics for print pieces and web pages. Could also include designing layout for print pieces.
Prayercast Footage Acquistion- Gather footage from the internet for Prayercast videos.
Web Designer- Help design and administer the Prayercast website
Accompaiment Music Acquisition- Gather background music tracks to be used in Prayercast resources.
Photo Acquisition- Gather photos from all over the world to use in Prayercast videos and on website to inspire prayer.
Quality Control for Prayercast.com- Check website for mistakes, broken links, etc.
Worship Music Acquisition- Gather worship music from around the world for Prayercast.com.
Video ID Tagger- Create ID tags for prayercast videos that improve internet search results.
ITunes ID Tagger- Create ID tags for prayercast videos that improve iTunes search results.
Video Sharing Tech- Transfer and post all Prayercast videos on 3 video sharing sites.
ITunes Tech- Transfer and post all Prayercast videos to podcast on iTunes.
Acquisition of Prayer Resources- Gather print teaching, audio sermons, and video sermons on prayer.
Acquisition of stories & testimonies- Gather stories & testimonies from people all over the world of what God is doing.
News Acquisition- Gather information on the top 10 world news outlets and all Christian news outlets.
