Music and audio production interns will work on many different OWM music and studio initiatives.
Worship Album Production: Many different people and groups are using OneWay Studios to produce various worship albums and other ministry resources. Interns will be assisting with recording, mixing, and mastering for these projects, as well as helping to organize music and musicians.
Prayercast Audio Production: Prayercast is an OWM ministry that activates world-changing prayer through media. There are many music and prayer tracks that need to be edited, bounced, and made ready for people to use to pray, all around the world, for the world.
Audio Engineering: Interns will also get experience recording quality speakers for various projects like radio spots and teaching modules.
OneWay Studios uses a ProTools system. Experience with ProTools is preferred.
Video editing interns will artistically create professional quality video-based prayer resources that will be distributed around the world through www.prayercast.com. Prayercast utilizes Macs and Final Cut Pro for all video projects.
Nation Videos: Interns will create prayer videos for various countries around the world, combining a prayer from a national with compelling footage from that country.
Special Videos: Interns will create special videos for existing OneWay original worship music or worship music from around the world, to be used around the world! They will also create various promotional videos for the ministry.
Documentaries: Interns will create documentary videos for OneWay Ministries about the internship program and other missions-related topics.
Interns will assist in public relations and marketing messages for the ministry, working with development and various ministry projects.
Graphic Design: Interns will use Photoshop and InDesign to create graphics for print (brochures, posters, newsletters, sales sheets, etc.) and web. Interns will be involved in every aspect of the layout process.
OWM Storytelling: OneWay Ministries and the staff each have a unique story of how God brought them to the place where they are. It is our heart to tell these stories in a compelling and creative way using different communication mediums.
Social Media: Interns will develop and implement social media strategies for various OWM initiatives.
Qualified interns will have strong skills or experience in at least one of the above areas, and will have a heart for using media to reach the multitudes around the world with the gospel.
Writing interns will create compelling written prayer resources. Interns will research numerous topics and synthesize their research in writings that will help to activate world changing prayer.
Nation Summaries: An essential element of Prayercast is an informative nation summary needed for each nation page, written by interns. These summaries provide insight into the nation from past issues to current needs. Not only are these summaries published online, but they educate and motivate prayer around the globe.
Radio Spots: In partnership with a local radio station, OWM interns are heavily involved in the process of writing 48 second radio spots. Later recorded by OWM staff or volunteers, these prayers will be broadcast locally and with nationwide affiliates.
OneWay Storytelling: OneWay Ministries and the staff each have a unique story of how God brought them to the place where they are. Interns will write to share many OWM stories with the public.
Interns will serve in a variety of capacities, touching on many of the overall goals and current projects at OWM. These interns usually work on at least 2 projects at a time, providing multiple experiences working on different teams and developing many sets of skills furthering God's Kingdom. Missions Stateside projects may include some of the following and are assigned based on the intern's skills and interests.
Communications: Interns work closely with the Communications Team to help articulate the message of OneWay’s ministries in Africa and in the states through web.
Strategy: Interns assist with project development of OWM Africa and other OWM ministries.
Research: Interns complete various research projects such as gathering a worship song for every country of the world, fundraising projects, etc.
Writing: Interns inspire people around the world to pray for, give to, and serve in missions-related projects.
General ministry support: Interns contribute to any work of OWM needed using event planning, administrative, or other skills.
