an update on oneway’s new headquarters facility
“Unless the Lord builds the house, its builders labor in vain.” Psalm 127:1
**UPDATE**
August 2010
We are about four weeks away from the completion of the construction in our new headquarters. Over 500 hours of volunteer time, along with resources donated by the OneWay family made it possible to completely renovate a 7,000 sq.ft. office space into a recording studio, a sanctuary, a video production room, offices and a kitchen – all for less than $70,000!
Come join us in celebration of God’s provision on Friday, October 15 at 5PM and share a time of worship and guided tours of the new operations space.
April 2010
Since the fall, we’d been waiting on Him for the funds necessary to do construction on the unfinished space that had been donated to us. Well, while we were waiting, God surprised us once again.
Over the months, as the ministry and vision continued to grow, we had started to wonder if the 2,000 square feet we would be moving into would be adequate to serve us for the foreseeable future. When we approached the friend who was donating the commercial space, he said that while he could not offer us more space in that building, he was willing to offer us use of the building his company had just moved out of across the street!
Move-in ready and 7,000 square feet large, this building is an amazing provision from the Lord. Not only will it be able to house the offices and studio of OneWay, but it will also be able to accommodate a new church that we will be planting this fall.
Yes, after much prayer and sensing the Lord’s lead, the board has adopted the initiative of planting a small to mid-sized, elder-led church as a way of furthering our mission to activate God’s people to exalt Christ and advance His gospel around the world.
During the the month of May we’ll be doing work on the new building that will outfit it to serve the needs of the ministry in the days and, Lord willing, years ahead. If you are in the area and would like to help in any way, please email katie@owm.org. We are open to help from individuals, families or small groups. We trust it will be a great way for many of us to serve locally and reach globally!
